Tarnish and wear of gold jewelry can usually be prevented by storing your jewelry in a soft pouch like the one included with your purchase. Do not use chemical cleaners on metal or gemstone as they can be too harsh and could potentially cause damage. Wash and scrub with mild hand soap on metal only as needed to wash away tarnish. Take your jewelry piece to a professional jeweler for regular maintenance to keep your piece looking new.

Treat jewelry as a valuable piece of adornment and be cautious when wearing particularly for rings and bracelets as they are prone to wear and tear on the hands.

Avoid putting your jewelry in contact with water including swimming pools, hot tubs, and showers as well as exposing it to chemicals such as hairspray or perfume. This can cause discoloration on either the metal or stone as well as cause cracks in stones.

Prongs and precious metal wear will occur over time and may require restoration work as part of regular maintenance. It is your responsibility to properly take care of your jewelry in order to avoid losing or damaging your stones.
